Mujamkavu Parthasarathi Kshetram Annual Festival

Mujamkavu Parthasarathi temple is situated in Ednad village of Kasaragod taluk. This is placed at four Km east of Kumbla.The annual festival lasts for seven days during February every year. On the day of `Thulava Sankramam a large number of devotees attend the temple for Theertha Snanam.
The temple is situated at Kasargod district in the state of Kerala and attracts a large number of temples which thrive with a whole lot of activities particularly at the time of festivals. These festivals add color and vibrancy to the life of the people.

This annual festival lasts for of seven days, the day of “Thulava Sankraman” is considered to be the most important. On this day, the temple is packed by the largest number of people who come here for the holy bath or the "Theertha Snanam". They have a faith deep within their hearts that this holy water has the power to cure skin diseases.The healing power of the water draws people from far to this temple.
The joy, the laughter and the excitement of the people at the time of the celebration of this Hindu festival is really great.
