R Block– R Block is situated in Kuttanad known as Rice Bowl of Kerala. Here rice is grown below the sea level for this land is reclaimed from the backwaters and is protected by dikes built around it. It is one of the most beautiful backwater resion of Kerala.

Mannarassala Snake Temple– Sree Nagaraja Temple of Mannarassala is located about 35 km from Alleppey. It is an important and ancient temple of Kerala. The temple starting is with thick dense forest and about 30000 stone image of serpents are there along the way. The temple is one of the popular place for serpent worships and have amazing healing powers.

Krishnapuram Palace – Krishnapuram Palace is located about 47 km from Alleppey and has history that goes back to 18 century old. It is famous for its mural paintings and its ancient architecture. It is a museum of paintings , antique stone and wood sculptures. Krishnapuram Palace was the residence of the rulers of Kayamkulam kingdom.

Edathua Church – The church is located at the bank of River Pampa, about 24 kilometers form Alleppey. The church was built in 18th century and is dedicated to St. George. It is believed that if one offer prayer in the church , it help to recover from mental imbalances and other ailments.

St.Sebastian’s Church– The church is located 24 km from Alleppey it is one of the seven churches built by St Stephen in the first century. It is one of the most important pilgrimage place for Christians of Kerala. Arthunkal Perunnal a ten day festival is held in the honor of its patron, St. Sebastian.
