Ambalavayal Museum is the archaeological museum located in Wayanad district in State of Kerala, India. Ambalavayal Museum is also known as Wayanad Heritage Museum. The Ambukuthi hill is another landmark for those who want to visit this beautifully preserved museum.It has one of the largest collections of the remnants of an era dating back to the 2nd century A.D in Kerala.It is managed by the District Tourism Promotion Council.Most Attraction of the Museum is to rare 2nd century artifacts. Another remarkable feature of Ambalavayal Heritage Museum is a series of stone and rock engravings, known as Hero Stones, depicting the lives and feats of ancient warriors.
