Thiruvairanikkulam Mahadeva Temple

Thiruvairanikkulam Mahadeva Temple is one of the famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in Aluva town of Ernakulam District of Kerala India. The idol of the Lord Shiva is facing east in the sanctum.Just behind Mahadeva resides Goddess Parvathi. In front of the Mandapa found in the front of Lord Mahadeva’s Sreekovil (sanctum), the RISHIBAM (the bull) prostrates, facing Parameswara. In the lawn nearby Lord Ganapathi (Vigneswar) is also seen, facing east.

Temple is located in Aluva – Kalady KSRTC Route.Temple located in a walkable distance from Maramplilly ( which is in between Aluva – Perumbavoor KSRTC Route) by crossing Sreemoolam bridge.

By AirCochin International Airport is located about 11 Km from here.

By TrainAluva Railway Station is located about 10 Km from here.

By Road– The temple can also be reached from Kalady in MC Road by traveling 5 Km to reach Sreemoolanagaram and then turning left to join Vallom Road and again left through Vallom Road for 1 km and finally right through  Akavorr – Thiruvairanikkulam Road for 1.5 KM.
