Peermade is a small hill town that is located in the state of Kerala in the Idukki district. It is a popular tourist town in the state and there are many attractive sites that are available here. One can also visit the nearby Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary to take a glimpse of herds of elephants and other wildlife as well as lakes. Summer season of March to May is the best expected time in Idukki and very well connected via all modes of transportation rail, road and air.
