How To Reach Kerala

Kerala is located at southernmost part of India, but easily accessible from all the major cities of India and abroad. It is well connected by all the means of transport available. There are three airports located at Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Calicut (Kozhikode) with many domestic and international flights. The Karipur Airport, Kozhikode plays host to domestic airlines while the Thiruvnanthapuram International Airport and the Cochin Airport, Nedumbasherry operate both domestic and international flights.

How to reach Kerala by Road:

There is a very strong road network which makes Kerala easily accessible from all parts of the country. Kerala is directly connected by road to both Karnataka, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. National Highway no.47, 17, 49, and an extensive system of metalled roads connect Kerala to the rest of the country. Buses, tourist taxis, and autos are the main modes of road transport.

KSRTC provide the local bus service and connecting the important towns and cities of Kerala from adjoining states.

How to reach Kerala by Train (Railways):

Kerala have a strong network of trains connecting from major parts of India. There are about 200 railway stations in Kerala connecting places both within and outside Kerala. The Indian Railways train services connects Kerala to all the important cities of India including New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, etc. One can avail of Super-Fast and express trains to reach ones chosen destination.

Kerala have frequent train services from Tamil Nadu and Karnataka which distant cities like Delhi and Mumbai have weekly services that provide direct access to various districts of Kerala.
