Perinthalmanna

Perinthalmanna is a historic town located in Malappuram District of Kerala State of India. It was the the capital of Valluvanad, a princely state ruled by the Valluvakonathiris. It is also called as Hospital Town of Kerala due to abundance of Hospital and medical facility.

Valluvanadan is a village located near Perinthalmanna which is famous more temples and mosques like Pathaikkara Mana and Pathaikara Sree Mahavishnu Temple.There is a very long list of temples, mosques and tombs and churches spread all over Perinthalmanna. Kulirmala is a hilltop located in the town and is the highest point in the town , you can have a glimpse of entire town and nearby places from this point. There is a water spring also in Kulirmala. Kodikuthimala is another hilltop at the height of 610 meters above the sea level.

The NH 213 passes through the town center and the town is well connected to other towns and cities of the district and State. Plenty of private and K.S.R.T.C. buses are available to Kozhikode, Palakkad, Thrissur, Guruvayur, Nilambur, Malappuram, Valanchery, Kottakkal and Manjeri.
