The Abhinaya Summer Theatre Festival, is all set to roll off for the fourth year from Kannur, traveling through five districts of Kerala. The festival will start on May 14, 2013, from District Cooperative Bank Auditorium, Kannur. The touring festival will carry four productions, and around 65 people including the cast, crew and technicians. This year’s productions include ‘Irakalodu Mathramalla Samsarikkendathu,’ Vijay Tendulkar’s ‘Sakharam Binder,’ ‘Savithri’ and ‘Theranjeduppu,’ (In Search Of).

Abhinaya plans to donate the profits gained from the Summer Festival towards the theatre therapy of autistic children.The charity initiative has been followed over the past few years in association with ICCONS (Institute for Communicative and Cognitive Neurosciences, Shoranur).
