IFFT 2013 -the 8th International Film Festival of Thrissur, organised by Thrissur Chalachithra Kendram in association with various cultural organizations and film societies, is scheduled to be held from February 15 to 21st, 2013. At a time when passionate love of cinema in Kerala is wedded to academic and professional interest in the medium, IFFT 2013 will present the best in cinema of contemporary reality from all over the world.

Thrissur Chalachitra Kendram founded in the year 2004 as a unit of the Janasamskara Chalachitra kendram, Thrissur is an organisation devoted to the promotion and propagation of quality films.Thrissur Chalachitra Kendram has so far hosted seven International Film Festivals (IFFT) at a trot from the years 2004 to 2012.
