Janabheri National Theatre Festival 2013

The 1st Janabheri National Theatre Festival JNTF organized by Janabheri , Thrissur in association with Kerala Sangeetha Natak Akademi will be held during April 23- 27 2013 at K.T.Muhammed Smaraka Theater (Regional Theater), Thrissur. JNTF is an extensive theater festival for the youth which strives to provide a platform for the works by young theater directors below 35 yearsof age.

Janabheri, the word is synonym of Kerala Theater. It is an institution devoted to the cause of Performing Arts, both Classical and otherwise. The main interest being centered around Kathakali, the total theater of Kerala. Janabheri is registered under Societies act, affiliated to the Kerala Sangeeth Nataka Academy and functions in harmony with both Governmental bodies like Keralakalamandalam Deemed University, Thrissur Corporation, Shornur Municipality and with Non-Governmental Organizations like Kottakkal PSV Natyasangham, Palakkad Mudrakhya, Ambalapuzha Sandarsan Kathakali Kendra etc.
