Jeevan TV is a malayalama news and entertainment channel of Kerala State of India. eevan Television is a Secular News and Entertainment Malayalam television channel. Its headquarters is at Palarivattom, Kochi, India. Jeevan TV is the result of initiative and investment from people from various walks of life. Jeevan TV first aired its news and entertainment programs in the year 2002. The Channel was re-launched in the year 2003 with its secular values

Jeevan was the first channel that addressed the Keralites penchant for news in a comprehensive and impressive manner. From the existing 4 bulletins that were available, Jeevan took the leap and launched 12 bulletins per day. Dramatically, Jeevan made a landmark entry into the Kerala market with its English news. Jeevan was also the first to categorize its news into discrete segments, covering an eclectic mix of sports, business, health & science, and entertainment.

On the film front, the channel caters to a wide variety of audience with programmes like Film Focus, Film Magazine, Star Chat and Viewers’Choice. And Chocolates, which introduces budding celebrities, as well as Cine Hits comprising the latest hits from the Film music scene, have good TRP ratings. Besides there is UPASANA, a musical odyssey through the life and times of veteran playback singer Jayachandran.Entertainment wise too,Jeevan TV offers several must see shows with a special segment ,Thirai Tendral,wholly dedicated to Tamil songs.Inaddition there are enchanting offerings like Shubha ratiri and Nalayude Vanambadikal.Of these Subharathiri was instrumental in providing many talented singers with the much needed break in to the world of Play back singing.

In a short span of time Jeevan has become the lifeline of the cultural ethos of Kerala, a rare achievement brought off by the Channel’s meaningful and thought provoking infotainment programmes. Malayalees have reciprocated this novel initiative by forming the Jeevanclub. The Club formed by the well wishers, viewers & share holders of Jeevan continue to organize feedback sessions, variety entertainments, seminars and workshops and support the channel in all respects.
