Thalassery is regarded as the political and Cultural capital of Malabar region. The palm-fringed terrain of Thalassery has a scenic coastline and features four rivers, canals and hills with orange-hued rock. All over in this somewhat ancient town the Older houses in Thalassery have traditional Kerala architecture. Each house invariably has coconut trees, jack-fruit, and perhaps papaya, and/or mango trees. The many idyllic suburbs are well defined by the rivers and canals that flow past.

Ancient Tellicherry-The Government of Kerala declared Thalassery a heritage city. Visit 17th century Telicherry Fort here . Lors Wellesely suppressed many rebellion from this fort. Holy Rosary Church can also be seen from this fort .

Odathil Palli– This 500 year older church in the heart of Thalaserry was built by the Artab Timber Merchant . This mosque has unique architecture style and is built in typical Kerala Hindu temple style. The mosque has in Minarates and domes. There are beautiful carving in the wooden walls of the mosque.

BeachesMuzhappilangad Beach is famous drive in beach and is only drive in beach in India and Asia. From beach you can have a glimpse of Dharmanand Island across Anjarakandy River.

Mambally’s Royal Biscuit Factory– Established in 1880 the first Bakery via which the British introduced cakes to India . From here only the cakes and biscuit flourished in India.
