Pazhassi Tomb

Pazhassi Tomb is a tomb of Pazhassi Raja also called as Lion of Kerala in Manthavady town of Wayanad District of Kerala State in India. He was famous for guerrilla warfare techniques which he used to fight with Britishers and Tipu Sultan forces. There is a cave nearby called as Pulpally cave , it is here he took shelter till he until captured by Britishers.

The tomb is memorial of Veera Pazhassi Raja . There is also a museum near the tomb where the sword of his time is on display . This historic place attracts lots of tourist to it.
