By Train– Vallikunnu railway station is located near the beach it is a small station. Kozhikode Railway Station an important station of south India is also located abot 29 km from Malappuram.
By Road– There is a small bus station in Vallikunnu that connects it with the cities such as Palakkad, Ernakulam, Mysore, Calicut, Tiruvantapuram, Kochi of Kerala.
