Kottakkal Excursions

Tirur– It is located about 19 km from Kottakkal .Major attraction of Tirur is the famous Trikkandiyur Lord Shiva Temple. The place hold historical significance also as the first rail was laid here only. Thera are various pilgrimage places in the town of Tirur.

Perinthalmanna– Perinthalmanna is a cultural town located about 29 km from Kottakkal town. It has various cultural places to visit. Thali temple located on the way to Malappuram from Perinthalmanna.

Kadalundi– Kadalundi is a beautiful Bird Sanctuary surrounded by hillocks at the bank of river Kadalundi.The place is located at the lap of nature with scintillating beauty of river along the lush green forest. Pazhayangadi Mosque– Pazhayangadi Mosque is a mosque about 18 km from Manjeri. The mosque is associated with Muhammed Shah, a Muslim saint from Persia and is popularly known as Kondotty Thangal.The mosque is built in unique Mughal Architectural Style.
