Keezharkuthu Falls

Keezharkuthu Falls is located about 25 k from Thodupuzha in Idukki District of Kerala India. This beautiful waterfall is also known by the name of "The Rainbow Waterfall" . The waterfall falls from the height of about 200 feet and is at 1500 meters above sea level. The waterfall is from a perennial source and can be visited anytime. The waterfall attracts thousands of tourist all around year. There is a huge rock in its opening and it looks like as if the waterfall is originating from that rock. Surrounded by the natural beauty all around the waterfall gives a fascinating view of nature at its best. It is an ideal place for picnic and halting destination for tourist.

Kaithappara hills in its serenity is known for medicinal herbs and plants. Tribal peoples live there in the top of the hill and one can stay there as there are staying facility.
