Top Station is a famous tourist station near Munnar Kerala located in Theni District of Tamil Nadu . Top station is a historic place where tea from Munnar was brought then down by ropeway to Kottagudi. Top Station offers beautiful panoramic views of Theni District and Verdant ranges of Western Ghats . Top Station is located about 1880 meters above the sea level.
Tea chests arriving at Top Station from the Kundalai Valley were transported by a ropeway from Top Station 5 km down hill to the south to Kottagudi, Tamil Nadu. It is also famous for amazing flower known as Neelakurinji flowers which are very rare flowers and blooms once in 12 years.
