Pathanamthitta: It is located at the distance of 50 km away from Anchal town.Pathanamthitta is a prominent tourist niche for its boat races, religious shrines and the cultural training centre.

Punalur – Punalur is a small town located about 13 km from Adoor . It is a beautiful town located in lap of nature. Kallada rivers flows by this place and many picturesque spots that attracts tourists.

Ponmudi – Ponmudi is a beautiful hill station located in Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala located about 66 km from Anchal. The hill station is at the height of 1100 meters above the sea level.The landscape of Ponmudi is an interspersing of valleys and hills with forestland and plantations. Ponmudi is having an extensive importance of biodiversity, which plays a major role in maintaining the ecological balance of the area.

Thenmala Dam – Thenmala Dam is a second largest irrigation dam located about 26 km from Anchal. Boating facility are avaialable here , the dam is located in the lap of nature greenery all around.

Varkala – Varkala is a famous beach destination located in Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala about 40 km from Anchal. It is the only beach which have cliff behind the shore , the cliff is also famous as pilgrimage spot as Sivgiri Mutt is located here. Varkala Beach is also called as Papanasam Beach.

Ezhamkulam Devi Temple – It is Situated 14 km from Anchal Town in State of Kerala. The Garudan Thookkom held as part of the Kumbha Bharani festival at the Ezhamkulam Bhagavathy temple, near Adoor, Pathanamthitta,Kerala,India.
