Thottada Beach is a beautiful beach in Kannur district of Kerala, south India. It is situated at Thottada 7 km from Kannur town. The Thottada river which passes by here submerge into the sea near this beach. The 800 meter long stretch of sand along the beach is an ideal place for sun bathing. There is a 30 year dam also built across the river to keep fresh water from Sea water.
There are various beach and guest houses here located at the vicinity of the beach where tourist can stay and relax and enjoy the beautiful view of Arabian Sea.

By Air– Calicut International Airport is the nearest airport located about 115 km.
By Train– Kannur Railway Station is located about 7 km from here
By Road– Kannur is a major stop for buses . Kannur has a good road network that connects it with the other cities of Kerala.
