Madayipara

Madayipara flat topped hillock located in Madayi village in Kannur District of Kerala State of India. Thiruvar Kadu Bhagavathi Temple is located here due to which it is famous place . The temple famous Hindu temple dedicated to Kali Amma. The origin of the temple is ancient, and the main deity worshiped here is Madayi Kavu Amma or Thiruvar Kadu Bhagavathi in the form of MahaKali.

The ancient temple named Vadukunda Shiva temple is located on the western side of this hillock. Madayipara is also known for its flora and vegetation here and huses some of the rare species of plants such as Nymphoides krishnakesara , Rotala malabarica and many other.
