Neyyattinkara

Neyyattinkara is a prominent town in Thiruvananthapuram district in the Indian state of Kerala. The name ‘Neyyattinkara’ in Malayalam literally means the shore (kara) of Neyyar River. Neyyar River flows from Agasthyarkoodam, the highest peak (1868m above MSL) in the southern end of the Western Ghats.In Neyyattinkara there are two important places to see.One is Aruvippuram, the holy land of Sree Narayana Guru is an important pilgrim centre near Neyyattinkara and the other is Neyyar Dam is another popular picnic spot near Neyyattinkara.

In a nutshell even though Neyyattinkara is a small town, yet it has become a tourist spot because of its two destinations of Aruvippuram and Neyyar Dam . In Neyyattinkara there are many authentic and luxury hotels near the bus terminal where you can stay with all comforts of away from home with family and friends.

Climate and Weather of Neyyattinkara

The town is lapsed bewtween western ghats and Arabian Sea . Neyyattinkara have pleasant climate all through the year with hot & humid simmers and chill winters. October to February is the best months to be visited and best for sightseeing.
