She is a member of the family of Prophet Mohammed and is believed to have arrived from Mecca. The mosque has a grave of Sayeedunissa Bevi and her son Hazrath Sayyidussaheed Maheen Aboobaker. Devotees of many religion visit the mosque to offer prayer irrespective of religion.
