Palayam mosque also known as Palayam Pally and Masjid-i Jahan-Numa is located in Trivandrum Kerala India. It is the most important mosque of Trivandrum. There is a temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha adjacent to the mosque and a church across the road. This place shows the communal harmony between the peoples of the area.
Palayam Mosque at Trivandrum dates back to 1813 AD when Britishers were stationed here. A small mosque was constructed with a small place to offer prayer. Slowly slowly the mosque was reconstructed by the officers and people there. In 1960 businessmen and government officials took up its renovation and constructed the mosque that stand today.

By Train– Trivandrum Railway Station is located at the center of the city which is well connected with other cities of Kerala and India.
By Road– Being state capital the city has a good road network connecting it to nearby cities.
