Kappil Lake is located in Kappil Town of Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala State of India . Kappil is a famous tourist destination famous for beach, backwaters and water-sports facilities. Varkala is located about 6 km from here. There is bridge built across the lake and one can enjoy the beautiful view of the lake and its surrounding. Kappil beach which is located nearby the lake is the meeting point of the lake and the Arabian Sea.
