Pareekshith Thampuran Museum

Pareekshith Thampuran Museum also known as Durbar Hall Art Gallery is an archaeological museum located in Durbar Hall Road in Cochin City of Kerala India. Museums boast of various collective items of 19th century like paintings, murals, stone sculptures, scriptures made of Plaster of Paris , coins , all these things belongs to the Cochin Royal Family . The Museums is named after the last ruler of Cochin Royal Family Rama Varma Parikshith Thampuran and is under control of Archeological Department of Kerala State.

Thampuran Muesum was the place where the guest of Royal family were received and it was the major meeting point for functions and ceremonies of Royal Family . The Durball Hall is the main attraction of the building which has Kerala style architecture .
